The Alberta Construction Safety Association is a non-profit organization funded and directed by industry. The Association consists of construction industry volunteers supported by a team of professionals based out of offices in Edmonton and in Calgary.
 
In Alberta engineers, geologists and geophysicists use their expertise in such areas as resource development, construction, public works, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and processing. Under Alberta statute, APEGGA registers, sets practice standards and determines disciplinary action, when necessary, for its approximately 34,000 members.
Transport Canada’s mission is to develop and administer policies, regulations and services for the best transportation system for Canada and Canadians — one that is safe and secure, efficient, affordable, integrated and environmentally friendly.
Alberta Transportation contributes to Alberta's economic prosperity and quality of life through the provision of a safe and efficient provincial transportation network, water management facilities and environmentally safe water and wastewater infrastructure.
CEA is a registered organization representing over 80 Alberta engineering firms. These firms employ over 4000 individuals including professionals engineers, technologists and support staff, contributing over $1.2 billion annually to the Alberta economy.
