Transportation & Design Engineers

Al-Terra Engineering is a small firm of approximately 25 employees based in Edmonton, Alberta. The company has been in business for over 32 years, and uses a controlled business model by incorporating talented and dynamic individuals into our team. We handle some very significant projects by forming and managing multi-discipline teams. The types of projects that we handle are:

    * Highways and Interchanges
    * Urban Transportation
    * Land Development, Site Development and Municipal Infrastructure

Our services include functional planning, design, construction survey and supervision, and contract management.

At this time we want to strengthen our team with the following individuals:

    * Intermediate Transportation Planning Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in functional planning of interchanges, highways and major urban roadways for public sector clients. Experience in traffic modeling and preparation of TIA’s an asset. Must be able to work proficiently in MicroStation V. 8. Sound working knowledge of Synchro 7 would be a definite asset.

    * Intermediate Highway Design Engineer/Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in highway design, specifications and tender preparation. Proficiency in the use of AutoCADD is required. Ability to use other roadway design software an asset. Experience in construction management would also be an asset.
